Categories:

The end of the Fall Sports Season is among us. The Class of 2025 has officially taken on their first lasts when it comes to athletics. Each sport competed in their senior nights over the past 3 weeks.

The first senior night game was our very own 13-time state champions, Flint Hill Varsity Volleyball, on October 8. They had a sweep of 3-0 while honoring their seniors: Isabelle Bardin, Kadi Pynchon, and Audrey Sealock. Bardin and Pynchon are committed to playing Division I Volleyball at Purdue University and Lafayette College, respectively.

Second was Varsity Girls’ and Boys’ Golf on October 10. They had a close loss of 188-172, just 17 strokes away from the win. The seniors were Jae Chung and Student Council President Vincenzo Fiorino.

The game on October 11 was Varsity Boys’ Soccer, which took the win 1-0. Jack Dunn, Reid Feliciano, Colin Fields, Cian Gallagher, Kevin Miller, and Gavin Timko were all represented that night.

Next up is Varsity Girls’ Tennis. They played on October 16 and won 6-1. There were four seniors who took on the court for their last regular season home game. Those were Jasmine Coates, Claire Edelmann, Jessie Gill, and Min Kim.

Girls’ soccer had Flint Hill’s only tie of all the senior night, with the final score being 1-1 on October 21. Gipson Brown, Lillian Burns, Tatum Carney, Allyssa Corporan, Mary DelVecchio, Caroline Hinrichs, Liliana Mahdi, and Amelia Monjazeb were the seniors. DelVecchio is committed to playing Division I Soccer at American University.

On October 22, Varsity Field Hockey won 2-1. Our seniors were Berkley Gardner, Caitlin Golden, Alanna Jones, Megan Jones, Grayson Morill, Sky Rossi, Kieran Snow, and Keira Stout. A. Jones and M. Jones are both committed to playing Division III Field Hockey. A. Jones plays at Stevenson University, and M. Jones plays at the College of New Jersey.

The last senior night game was Varsity Football. They lost 6-10 against Maret at Friday Night Lights. The seniors celebrated were Dinbas Burka, Rajit Chegu, Kobe Davis, Elan Jones, Kendall Jones, Vic McNeal, Matthew Nakamoto, Luke Richardson, Damian Snell, Bryce Stewart, Kariq Waters, Jeffrey Wells, and Caleb West.
