It’s the time of year when flowers are ready to bloom, the sun is out earlier, and allergies are making their annual appearance. For our Husky Athletes, however, it is the shift from Winter sports to Spring ones. The spring sports season unveils opportunities to compete or watch baseball, softball, boys’ tennis, lacrosse, or track & field. The 2022-2023 Winter Season was successful for many of our sports, including the girls’ varsity basketball team, which won the ISL A Division Championship. Additionally, junior Michayla Eisenberg won first place in the 2023 VISAA Diving Championships, and junior Simon Bermudez Santa Maria took home the gold in the 2023 VISAA 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke Championships. Many athletes made All-MAC, WAICL, or ISL teams this winter season. Our Husky community looks forward to cheering on our athletes on the field, court, and track.
